The Last Time I Saw You....

Reading Elizabeth Berg is like visiting with a friend you wished you could see more often. Such a treat -so comforting and always something to look forward to! In her latest Berg's story turns to one of my favorite topics - the high school reunion! Should we or shouldn't we...go! So of course they go or there would be no story but things are never as you'd imagine or sometimes more than you'd hope for. The Last Time I Saw You has it all -the beauty queen, the yenta, the jock but somehow it's not cliche. Life might not always take us where we thought at graduation but it's comforting to know that perhaps there is a second act!

Marry Him?

With honesty and sincerity author Lori Gottlieb shares her hard earned dating insight with those of a certain age and also their younger selves. Lots of important information - Marry Him will make you take another look at the guy you passed by....

Don't BLAME me....

If you are up all night reading the latest by Michelle Huneven! You will root for Patsy MacLemoore -a history professor in her late twenties -who wakes up in jail not quite sure of what happened and when she is told that she is responsible for two deaths the reader isn't surprised. Blame gave me much to think about -what are we truly responsible for and there is always enough blame to go around. Enjoy!!

With Friends Like ......

Loved Lauren Grodstein's A Friend of the Family! Loved! In this satisfying, thought provoking novel the whole notion of friendship -especially long time friends and the challenges that can test these friendships when the next generation comes along makes for a real page -turner!! Great for book club discussion!
